These 3* commissioned pieces are part of JPL's Visions Of The Future poster series, which are all available here to download for free.

* The Mars art featured here is inspired by our commissioned piece, available here.

We also have limited edition posters and prints available as well, including our Mars variant art. You can purchase those here. Note: The Grand Tour Poster and Print Set are now sold out.

Details on each poster below ...

The Grand Tour: NASA’s Voyager mission took advantage of a once-every-175-year alignment of the outer planets for a grand tour of the solar system. The twin spacecraft revealed stunning details about Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune – using each planet’s gravity to send them on to the next destination. Voyager set the stage for such ambitious orbiter missions as Galileo to Jupiter andCassini to Saturn. Today both Voyager spacecraft continue to return valuable science from the far reaches of our solar system. Purchase the poster here. Sorry, this poster is now sold out.

Enceladus: The discovery of Enceladus’ icy jets and their role in creating Saturn’s E-ring is one of the top findings of the Cassini mission to Saturn. Further Cassini mission discoveries revealed strong evidence of a global ocean and the first signs of potential hydrothermal activity beyond Earth – making this tiny Saturnian moon one of the leading locations in the search for possible life beyond Earth. You can purchase this poster here.

Mars: NASA’s Mars Exploration Program seeks to understand whether Mars was, is, or can be a habitable world. Missions like Mars Pathfinder, Mars Exploration Rovers, Mars Science Laboratory and Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, among many others, have provided important information in understanding of the habitability of Mars. This poster imagines a future day when we have achieved our vision of human exploration of Mars and takes a nostalgic look back at the great imagined milestones of Mars exploration that will someday be celebrated as “historic sites.” Purchase the IC variant poster here.

Below: Our grandfather, Al Paulsen at his desk at NASA's Ames Research Center at Moffett Field in the 1960's. He was an illustrator and graphic designer at NASA for over 30 years. This project was obviously a special one.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Live Nation and Cirque du Soleil to promote their new show, Kurios, for its debut at Seattle’s Marymoor Park on January 29th. The idea was to incorporate elements of the show into recognizable Seattle landmarks - The pipes of Gas Works Park bend to reveal one of the show’s main characters, while the circular focal point of the stage design makes up one of the city’s more recent waterfront additions, The Great Wheel.

We worked with the amazing Vahalla Studios to produce the screen prints, and you can currently see the posters plastered throughout Seattle's Downtown. We also have a limited amount in our shop.

Special thanks to Brad Gentry and Live Nation. We can’t wait to see the show!

Last year we received a call from our favorite software company, asking us if we'd like to preview the soon-to-be-released Illustrator CC. The one caveat was that we had to create whatever we wanted and document how we did it. Our answer? A resounding 'Awesome!' and "Uh-oh, what are we going to create?" There were no guidelines, save for a few key words: Modern, fearless and reborn. Adobe's theme for the new release.

Since we had just recently bought a farm outside of the city, we were in the thick of having our normal lives turned upside down - yet at the same time, we were having a blast with our new lifestyle. 'Reality. Reborn.' is inspired by that personal transition ... blended together nicely with the amazing new features of Illustrator CC and Adobe's willingness to give us carte blanche on creative direction.

We've been using Adobe's products for almost 20 years now and rely extensively on their tools to create our projects. Huge thanks to Terry Hemphill and the Adobe team for asking us to do this. We had a lot of fun with CC's great new features.

Without further ado, download Adobe's awesome iPad magazine, Inspire to check it all out - or read it online. And to top it all off, grab the mega-huge uber-limited 25" x 46" poster in our shop now.

Read about how we went from sketch phase to final color blocking ... and how our process always evolves as we work.

One of the coolest new features in CC is the Multiple File Place tool, allowing you to adjust the size of your file before dropping them on the artboard.

CC's new Touch Type tool is especially great as well, allowing you to manipulate and edit individual characters without creating outlines.

Those are just 2 of my favorite new features. Read about the rest. A few details below:

We had the great privilege and honor of speaking at LEGO's internal Design Camp last week - a day away from the office for the creative team in beautiful Enfield, Connecticut. Scott Decoteau, along with the talented and generous crew at LEGO, were gracious hosts during our time in New England. Highlights of the trip included the LEGO HQ tour (wow), dangerously delicious indian food, bowling and sharing sentimental stories about the infamous drawstring denim LEGO bag.

To commemorate our talk, we decided to make some things. One of them being a poster of us creating our new mark out of 4,236 bricks - flown in from all over the world. After 2 hot days, 1 broken mallet (don't ask), 6 iced coffees and 3 blisters, the mosaic came to life. Extra special thanks to LEGO for supplying the baseplates.

Unfortunately these posters and prints are not for sale, but who knows - we may throw some in future IC poster orders ...

We're extremely thrilled to take part in the campaign for a new film titled Gennadiy. Our friends, Steve Hoover and Danny Yourd, the visionaries behind the powerful and moving Blood Brother documentary, have been hard at work on this incredible film and are now looking to finish the project with a little help from you. Visit the Kickstarter campaign here, where you can view the trailer, read about the film, and learn all the ways you can contribute to ensure its completion!

Once the campaign reaches $10,000 the poster that we created for the film will be revealed.

What happens when two ex-Altec Lansing guys, an architect/furniture designer and a liquor industry operational expert come together? Grain Audio. Check out the great video and bio over at their Kickstarter page to learn more. Better yet, pledge some of that hard-earned cash and make this dream a reality. The products are beautiful and they sound even better. We even designed a poster to help seal the deal. Go!

Our friends in Underøath asked us to contribute a design dedicated to one show of their upcoming farewell tour. This design (for both poster and t-shirt) specifically commemorates the Houston, TX date of the tour. If you have a chance, don't miss seeing this band for the last time, and be sure to check out all of the final tour designs created by friends of the band here.

To commemorate Demon Hunter's ten years, we've created a silkscreen poster featuring imagery from all six studio albums. This is a limited pressing of 100, signed by Ryan Clark (me), and is available in the store now. Order by December 20th for holiday arrival! (orders for this poster do NOT include IC Holiday Giveaway print)

Our friend, photographer John Keatley recently commissioned us to create a poster for his upcoming (and aptly titled) Un-Workshop. John is known for thinking outside the box with his high-concept and innovative portraits - so we thought it'd be fun to envision just what is going on inside his head on any given day. Unfortunately you'll need to wait until Feb. 2nd and 3rd to actually find out (sign up here!), but in the meantime we can all just imagine it looks a little something like this. Limited edition, signed and numbered 5 color silk-screened posters printed on French Muscletone available at the workshop. Go!

Last year we had the pleasure of helping our friends at Chipotle launch their first-annual Cultivate Festival. Bringing together food, farmers, chefs, artisans, thought leaders and musicians from around the globe, the festival was a resounding success. So, naturally we were thrilled when they asked us to come back this year. Our mission? To create a fresh and fitting sequel that continued the Cultivate brand we established in 2011.

This year it's twice the fun with Cultivate happening in Chicago on September 15th and Denver on October 6th. See you there!

What is Cultivate?

Scratch & dent. Overstock. Printing errors. Old posters. We got 'em and we need to get rid of 'em. For the remainder of the summer (or until we run out of stock) we'll be stuffing tubes full of posters and prints for a measly $10. Unfortunately we can't list which posters and prints we'll be including in the sale as we just have so many to choose from. Most have slight blemishes or some sort of minor printing error, while others have just been sitting on the shelves for awhile.

The risk? You may just hate every band listed on the posters your receive. The payoff? Your walls aren't that picky. Act now!
